Quaint museum on the harbor that details the Naval history of Greece. The ship models are incredibly detailed and the upstairs WW2 exhibit is phenomenal. For 3 euro it was a good price and a nice break in our day. Four out of five stars because some articles had minimal labels/descriptors.

Well organized and conveniently located museum, totally worth the price (3 euro per adult). The second floor is mostly dedicated to the WWII events and the battle of Crete in particular.

For the entrance fee, a nice scale collection of ships in Greece and that have been involved in the Greek history.
It is worth to visit if you are interested in naval history and/or have some spare hours.

The exhibition feels old and the text are quite biased towards the greatness of Crete and Greece. Also there are plenty of references to gods wrath and such where it doesn't belong. I feel a need to read an objective version to be able to tell what actually happened. To patriotic.

Nice, especially of course for those interested in nautical history, battles and ships.
For others, like me, it's still a pleasant visit, though it would be nice to have an audio guide or some more engaging way to interact with the exhibition (panels in Greek and in English are the only source of information at the moment).
